Trends 2015 - Toy reviews on You Tube
The end of the year is approaching so traditionally it is time to make lists and look back at the trends of the year. Till the end of the year I would like to share some observations and personal favorites.
One of the trends this year has to be rise of the toy reviews on You Tube. There was a the time when Toy Break was the only video show around about designer/vinyl toys. Now you have many more videos to choose from. Ranging from the pleasure of opening blind box toys to the more serious reviews of art toys.
My personal favorite are the reviews done by Nick Curtis of CoArt Magazine created for SpankyStokes.com. I like his style of presentation and his reviews are most informative.
Other favorite toy review shows on You Tube that I am subscribed too are:
- Toy Break ; A weekly show for news and reviews about designer vinyl, action figures, plush, collectibles, events, interviews and other toy related things. A show about all kinds of toy related things where artists drop by and talk about their work, etc.
- Collect and Display ; Toy reviews of available toys they have in their store. Great videos!
- ToyBoxCollectibles ; The unboxing and reviews of blind box toy and toy collectibles.
Like I said there are many more videos on You Tube about toys so just go and do a search on vinyl toys or toy collectibles and see what pops up in the results.
